About Me

Hello there, I'm Antoine! Originally from France, I've called NYC home since 2017. My aviation journey began over 10 years ago in France, and after several years working in the tech industry in New York, I decided to let my passion for flying take over and become a full-time flight instructor.

Aviation has been a lifelong love of mine. Growing up, I was obsessed with anything that had to do with airplanes—movies, books, comics—you name it! Attending the Paris Air Show was a must, and a whole day affair. Living in Paris, I didn't need to drive much, so I actually started my first flight lessons before I even learned to drive. Once I moved to the outskirts of Paris for college, the local airport was just a short bike ride away. Before I even sat in the cockpit on my first flight, I knew flying was going to be a lifelong passion.

International Experience

My next life adventure took me to Brazil for a couple of years. While getting in a GA airplane proved to be a challenge, learning to paraglide over the hills of Rio de Janeiro certainly made up for it.

After moving to the US, I discovered an incredible aviation community that inspired me to push my skills and knowledge further than I ever expected. I earned my FAA Private and Instrument ratings in San Diego, combining my love of flying with my passion for travel. From tailwheel and backcountry flying in Nevada to advanced IFR in Alaska, a Cirrus transition over the red rocks of Sedona, and countless trips across the Northeast and Southwest, I've experienced the incredible beauty and vast possibilities that aviation offers.

Certifications & Qualifications

I hold a Commercial Pilot certificate, with ratings for ASEL, AMEL, and Instrument. I am endorsed for high-performance, complex, and tailwheel aircraft. I also hold a Flight Instructor certificate with ratings for Airplane Single Engine, Multi Engine, and Instrument.

Aircraft Proficiency

I mainly provide instruction in Cessna 172/182, Columbia/Cessna 400/TTx, Cirrus SR-Series, and Diamond DA40/DA42 aircraft, and have time in several other types.
